Alisha K. Hudman named Development Director of Texas Boys Choir, Inc.
Fort Worth, TX -- Texas Boys Choir, Inc. is proud to announce the hiring of Alisha K. Hudman as its Development Director. Previously Development & Marketing Director of Susan G. Komen Greater Fort Worth, Alisha has strong ties to the community and brings new energy and enthusiasm to the position. Alisha will oversee all fundraising projects at TBC, Inc. including the Annual Campaign, Special Events, grants and other development objectives.
Alisha has a proven leadership and development record. Originally from Midland/Odessa, she graduated from Texas Christian University in 2003 with dual degrees in Advertising/Public Relations and Political Science. After working as a political consultant and fundraiser in Austin through the 2004 election season, she moved back to West Texas for her family. There she served on numerous boards including the Midland Chamber of Commerce, Casa de Amigos, Young Professionals of Midland, Permian Basin Advertising Federation and Midland Odessa Area AIDS Support, Inc. In 2009, she received the Beacon Award for Excellence in Communication from the Permian Basin Area Foundation’s Center for Non-Profit Management.

Alisha grew up with an appreciation for the arts, and has always been a supporter of arts-based education. An active networker and gifted communicator, she and her husband are happy to be living and serving in Fort Worth. Alisha has participated in the “Leaders Circle” of the Fort Worth Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Leadership Fort Worth, and founded the Komen Fort Worth Young Professional Council. She is also a current member of AFP, Junior Women’s Club, and Komen FWYP.
Since 2001, TBC, Inc. has opened two public charter schools that provide young men and young women the best of both worlds under one roof: comprehensive fine arts classes and training, and nationally recognized academic programs.
