Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts Earns All 7 TEA Academic Distinctions: Campus is 1 of 153 Statewide

FORT WORTH – The Texas Education Agency released the 2015 state accountability ratings for more than 8,600 campuses. Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts (FWAFA), a public charter school, achieved a rating of Met Standard as well as distinction designations in each of the seven possible areas.

The DFW arts organization encompasses both FWAFA and TeSA as well as the Texas Boys Choir and the new Texas Dance Conservatory.

FORT WORTH, Texas –June 10, 2015 – Texas Boys Choir, Inc., a Fort Worth organization supporting arts education in North Texas, has announced a formal name change to Texas Center for Arts + Academics (TXCAA) to more accurately reflect the role it serves in the North Texas Area of supporting a self-sustaining arts community through an arts-based academic education in its schools and high-quality artistic training in its conservatories.
