“Ring of Fire,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Star Wars- John Williams is the Man” and “Ave Maria” are just a few of the selections to be heard when booking a performance of Fort Worth-based Texas Boys Choir (TBC) through the Texas Touring Roster. And because of the Choir’s inclusion on the roster, non-profit organizations in Texas can receive grants from the Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) to experience the sounds of this world-class boychoir.

The Texas Touring Roster is compiled by TCA and features 150 of the state’s most exceptional artists and arts companies. TCA provides grants to non-profit organizations throughout Texas to assist with the cost of presenting these artists. The roster and its associated grants are designed to bring outstanding Texas-based artists to communities across the state.

“Being chosen for the Texas Touring Roster is an honor for Texas Boys Choir. We are pleased to continue giving communities across Texas an opportunity to hear the boys sing with the support and partnership of the TCA,” said Clint Riley, Executive Director of TBC, Inc.

Artists chosen for the Texas Touring Roster have been deemed the best in their respective fields by a panel of experts. Texas Boys Choir is one of only three choirs included in the latest roster. Other disciplines represented include music, visual art, dance, theater, storytelling, literary art and folk art.

Texas Boys Choir was founded in 1946 to provide any boy, regardless of socio-economic or ethnic background, a structured environment in which to learn the fundamentals of world-class vocal performance. Since its founding, the Choir has performed for Popes, U.S. Presidents, kings, and other heads of state. With countless accolades, including two GRAMMY© awards, and more than 40 professional recordings, TBC continues to earn its reputation as one of the premier boychoirs in the world and as one of Fort Worth’s cultural gems.

Since 2001, TBC, Inc. has opened two public charter schools that provide young men and young women the best of both worlds under one roof: comprehensive fine arts classes and training, and nationally recognized academic programs. All members of Texas Boys Choir are students at Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts. For more information visit
